NAMI Connection is a free, peer-led support group for adults 18 and over, living with a mental illness. You can gain insight and understanding from hearing the challenges and successes of others, and the groups are led by NAMI-trained facilitators who have been there. The Kiwanis Club of Clayton, N.C., serves the community with emphasis on school youth Kiwanis programs. It advises two local high school KEY (Kiwanis Educating Youth) clubs and one elementary school club and meets each month.
