SELMA — AdVenture Development has sold more than 14.5 acres in the Eastfield Development to The NRP Group of Cleveland, Ohio, which plans to build a 348-unit residential community on the land.
The 30-year-old firm has built more than 62,000 apartment homes in 17 states.
“This marks an important milestone in our master-planned development, bringing the multifamily residential component of Eastfield to fruition,” said AdVenture Development President Kevin Dougherty.
Designated as Eastfield Village, the community will include amenities like a clubhouse, fitness center, outdoor pool, grilling stations, dog park and pickleball court. The one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans across 12 three-story garden-style buildings apartment homes will feature high-end finishes, such as granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, a fully equipped kitchen and in-unit laundry.
Eastfield is located at exits 97 and 98 on I-95 at the intersection of Highway 70 in Selma. Already completed portions of the mixed-use development include The Old North State Food Hall, Chase Bank, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Hobby Lobby, Old Navy, Ulta Beauty, Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Burlington and Five Below. BJ’s Wholesale Club, Panda Express and Rack Room Shoes are under construction and scheduled to open later this year. Target is scheduled to open in spring 2026.
Eastfield Village will be walkable to the existing shopping, dining and service locations.
