The Clayton Chamber of Commerce’s Clayton Harvest Festival has roots dating back to 1951 when the Clayton Merchant’s Association (now CCOC) hosted Clayton’s first festival, the Cotton Festival. Now, with over 30,000 in attendance, this four-day festival incorporates a midway full of carnival rides, a classic car show, a Latin American Festival, the Squealin’ on the Square BBQ cook-off, a huge vendor fair, and other community-focused events, food, music and fun.
