Blessing Basket Bash

Thanksgiving is a time for family, food and gratitude. As the holiday approaches, we are aware of many families in the community who are food insecure and who would appreciate your blessings.

Gather your family, your neighbors, your co-workers or your place of worship, and unite to fulfill the list provided to bring a “Happy Thanksgiving” to those in our community!

Can you pledge a Blessing Basket or two?

Families that participate in the STARS Program of the Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action will benefit from your generosity.

We will host a “Parking Lot Party” DROP OFF Wednesday November 15th from 4:00pm till 7:00pm at CAROLINA BLEU (13049 US 70 Bus Clayton NC)

Here is the list of items to fulfill a Blessing Basket:

• Laundry basket to hold the goodies (no bags)
• $15 Turkey Gift certificate (Grocery store of your choice)
• Cans of corn, green beans and cranberries
• Boxes of stuffing and mashed potatoes
• Can/packet of gravy & can of cream of mushroom soup
• Box of muffin/biscuit mix
• Non perishable dessert of your choosing
• *Extras if you are inclined- additional food, socks, toys, toiletries, games, laundry detergent etc.
