The Johnston County Social Group for Teens and Young Adults with Autism (SGTYA) will hold a Christmas Craft Fair from 10 a.m. – noon on Nov. 5 at Christ Community United Methodist Church in Clayton as a fundraiser to benefit charity.
The handmade items range from custom-made Christmas cards to sachets to natural gel fresheners to one-of-a-kind wood burned coasters. Individual items will not exceed $7. SGTYA will then donate all proceeds to benefit North Carolina-based Samaritan’s Purse.
Christ Community UMC is located at 1082 Amelia Church Road in Clayton and is across the street from Clayton Community Park. SGTYA provides a safe place for 15- 23-year-olds to meet monthly to have fun and make friends. The group is sponsored and organized by the church’s Hispanic Ministry.
