Trailblaze Challenge Information Session

The Trailblaze Challenge is more than a hike. It’s more than a fundraiser. It’s a one-day endurance experience that challenges participants to tackle 26.5 miles of the Sauratown Trail in one life-changing day. It’s not a race, it’s a journey. Trailblaze Challenge caters to all levels, from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts, with the ultimate goal of helping Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina grant wishes to children with critical illnesses. As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the true challenge is to raise much needed funds to grant the wishes of children with critical illnesses in Eastern North Carolina. The first step is to sign up for an info session. The hike experience will include a specialized training program with bi-weekly group training hikes, support and coaching from hike leaders and Make-A-Wish staff, hotel Accommodations on hike weekend (3 Days/2 Nights), Trailblaze Challenge t-shirt, pin, and magnet; transportation to and from the trail on hike day and food and drink throughout the weekend as well as on the trail. The information session will be held at Moveology Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Clayton Saturday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m.
