After a long-awaited return, the Johnston County Parade of Homes is making its comeback in 2025.
Sponsored by the Johnston County Building Industry Association, this premier event showcases more than 40 homes built by a variety of builders, featuring a diverse range of price points, styles, and the latest in home technology and design trends. Homebuyers, design enthusiasts, and industry professionals alike will have the opportunity to explore homes across Johnston County and surrounding areas.
The last Parade of Homes was held in 2019, making this year’s event even more exciting for the community. The self-guided tour allows attendees to experience firsthand the craftsmanship and innovation of local builders while providing inspiration for future homeowners.
From starter homes to luxury properties, there is something for everyone to admire. “After several years without a Parade of Homes, we’re bringing it back,” said Heather Hall, Parade of Homes Co-Chair. “It’s personally my most favorite time of year to see what new and modern things the builders are doing. Whether you are looking for a starter home or ready to move up to your second or third home, there’s something for everyone. Let this event be something you look forward to year after year just as much as we do.”
Beyond simply touring homes, the event also serves as a friendly competition among builders. A select panel of judges from within the industry will evaluate the homes, with awards being presented at a celebratory banquet. These accolades highlight the exceptional craftsmanship and creativity of the participating builders.
