Get an early start on your holiday shopping while sipping on some delicious fine wines at our annual Downtown Smithfield Fall Wine Walkon Friday November 1st! The Downtown Smithfield Development Corporation will be hosting the Fall Downtown Smithfield Wine Walk and donating all proceeds to the Harbor Shelter. The Wine Walk will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m., when walkers will visit businesses in the downtown district and sample a different wine at each location. Walkers will begin at the Public Library of Johnston County & Smithfield, located at 305 E. Market Street. After purchasing tickets online or on site, all walkers will have their IDs checked and be given commemorative wine glasses and a wristband, which will allow them to taste wines at all of the participating businesses. The Fall Downtown Smithfield Wine Walk is a rain or shine event. No refunds - all sales are final.
