True North: Vacation Bible School

At True North, kids discover what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world. Kids will participate in memorable Bible learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, make and devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible Adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love and test out sciency-fun experiments they’ll never forget. Dinner is included on June 5 and 6 and lunch will be provided on June 7.

Magnified VBS

Yelverton Grove OFWB Church, Yelverton Grove Road, Smithfield

Come out for an all-ages Vacation Bible School this year. On Friday, dinner will be served at 5:30, VBS follows and ends at 8:45. On Saturday, breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., VBS follows and runs through 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served. Finally, commencement will be held during the 11 a.m. worship service, followed by lunch and Fun Day.

Clemmons Educational State Forest

Buffalo Creek Greenway

The entrance to the Buffalo Creek Greenway is at the back of Smithfield Community Park. The paved trail meanders three miles along the Spring Branch to the Neuse River Walk at Smithfield Town Commons. The path is ten feet wide and is our local part of the Mountains to Sea Trail. It’s perfect for hikers, runners and bikers!

The Mobile Free Pharmacy provides individuals and families who are low-income with free over-the-counter medicine.
