SMITHFIELD — Jase Robertson, star of the hit television series Duck Dynasty and co-founder of Duck Commander, will visit Johnston County this winter as the featured speaker for “Beyond the Blind,” a one-day event focused on faith, fellowship and recovery.
The gathering will be held Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at the Paul A. Johnston Auditorium on the Johnston Community College campus in Smithfield.
Robertson will share his personal story of redemption, faith and purpose — a message that has resonated with audiences nationwide. In addition to Robertson’s keynote, “Beyond the Blind” will feature live worship music, testimonies from individuals in recovery and opportunities to learn more about the mission of Hope Center Ministries, a Christ-centered recovery program with locations in Princeton and a future campus planned for Selma.
The day will also include a vendor showcase featuring national outdoor brands, along with silent and live auctions to raise funds for Hope Center Ministries. All proceeds will support the organization’s local recovery efforts, which help men and women overcome addiction through faith-based counseling, structured programs and community partnerships.
“This event represents the heart of what we do — helping people find hope and healing,” said Joanne Deans of Hope Center Ministries. “It’s a chance for the community to come together around a message of restoration.”
“Beyond the Blind” is part of an ongoing effort to strengthen support for addiction recovery in Eastern North Carolina while celebrating stories of faith and transformation.
