Kristin Radford Promoted to Sales Director
The Johnston County Visitors Bureau (JCVB) has promoted Kristin Radford to Sales Director. Radford previously served as Sales & Services Manager and will now lead the Bureau’s sales efforts while continuing to build relationships with tourism and community partners across Johnston County.
In her new role, Radford will focus on attracting meetings, events, and group travel to the county, supporting increased visitation and overnight stays. She brings more than seven years of experience with the JCVB, where her work has included partner outreach, visitor services and countywide tourism development initiatives.
“Kristin’s leadership strengthens our ability to grow Johnston County’s visitor economy and expand opportunities for our partners,” said Aaron Mullins, President and CEO of the JCVB.
The JCVB promotes Johnston County to group markets such as motorcoaches, weddings, meetings, sporting events, and leisure travelers. Visitor spending in the county increased by 5.2% in 2024, reflecting continued growth in tourism activity.
The organization is funded by a 3 percent occupancy tax paid by visitors staying in local accommodations.
